Independent final-stage observations

New Construction Inspection

A visual inspection of a substantially complete new home for visible incomplete work, damage, installation concerns, and systems that may warrant correction.

Overview

Independent observations before final acceptance

A new home can contain incomplete work, damaged components, or visible installation concerns even after required construction inspections. AdamsRidge provides an independent visual evaluation for the client.

The property should be substantially complete, utilities active, and installed systems ready for normal operation. Active construction, missing components, or restricted areas can materially limit the inspection.

Frequently asked questions

New Construction Inspection

These general answers do not replace the signed agreement or property-specific scope.

When should a new construction inspection be scheduled?

The home should be substantially complete, utilities active, and installed equipment ready for normal operation. Coordinate access and timing with the builder before the final walkthrough or applicable deadline.

Is this the same as a municipal code inspection?

No. It is an independent visual home inspection, not a comprehensive code-compliance inspection or substitute for required government inspections.

Will the builder have to repair every reported item?

AdamsRidge does not control the construction contract, warranty, or builder response. Clients should review the report with the builder and appropriate real-estate or legal professionals.
